Leadership Johnson County’s Murals for Mutts project team and the Youth Leadership Academy Class of 2021, along with the Humane Society of Johnson County and local artist Amy Barile joined to increase the HSJC’s visibility and provide a brighter backdrop for the shelter’s daily goings-on. How? By painting a mural on the HSJC building. Located on the building’s north side, the mural is more than 90 feet long and features a design of bright colors and cats and dogs wearing cool accessories.
