shooting to the top

This month keep your eyes on the 2021 IndyStar Indiana Girls Basketball All-Star Team: You’ll see a familiar face. One of the 14 players is Roncalli High School senior Madelyn Bischoff. As part of the team, she will play in three games — one exhibition game against the Indiana Junior All-Stars, as well as home-and-home contests against the Kentucky All-Stars.
A top scorer, Bischoff finished her Roncalli career with 1,532 points and in this past season averaged 21.4 points per game.

“Our program is completely ecstatic for Maddie,” says head coach Tim Gray. “This is a testament to her hard work, time and the effort she put forth to challenge herself and improve her game. We also hope this provides an inspiration to the girls playing in our program and to those future Roncalli Royals to set high goals and have the discipline and work ethic to reach them.”
Making the All-Star Team has been on Bischoff’s list since she was young, she says. “It is such an amazing accomplishment, and I couldn’t have been more blessed,” she says. “I am super excited to play with the top players in the state and compete at the highest level for my last high school game.”
